Let's start with a goal

There's something about the start of a new year that inspires people to set goals and challenges, whilst building better versions of themselves and we are no different here at VeloSkin.

There are so many popular resolutions out there; ride more miles, climb more hills, enter more events or drink more coffee with friends.

Here at VeloSkin, we’ve been thinking about 2020 and what we want to achieve individually as cyclists and collectively as VeloSkin

The VeloSkin Team behind the cream.

Chris Bairstow - Founder

”Having two young boys, who both race themselves, is a big challenge in itself to juggle with my own riding and I really want to be able to complete a few more Sportives, as well as lots of fun rides with the boys. I’d also like to get back to entering Summer Cross, so this next three months will be essential with my training.”

Andy Banks - eComms Director

“I am really excited about 2020 for various reasons. I’m really starting to look at increasing my typical mileage as I get more involved in road riding and taking on some local and national challenges such as Ronde Van Calderdale, Ride Yorkshire, Manchester100 and the Coast to Coast ride, which I will be doing for charity.”

Chris Iredale - Business Development Director

“2020 is a big year for myself with a milestone birthday and having a solid winter in the gym and on the road in me, I’m looking to go big with some real challenges ahead which might involve a few long distance challenges, including a 250 mile summer solstice and organising various races for my local club, 3RT. I’m really excited about going to Calpe with our partner team Ribble Weldtite early in the season along with the rest of the VeloSkin team.

Luis Alcantarilla - Social Media Manager

“2019 was very quiet for me on the bike, I totally neglected riding to pursue other interests off the bike which took up a lot of my time. I've been hammering Zwift quite frequently throughout the winter to regather some fitness and also been out on the road and found the bug again having seen some postive results. I'll be looking to get back into a few races, both time trials and crit races and seeing if I can get a result anywhere. I'd also like to tick off a few epic mountains and cols, but we'll see how that pans out!"

With VeloSkin, we can help you in achieving your goals, by keeping your skin comfortable for longer or helping it to recover faster, which will allow you to train harder, more efficiently and to enjoy those hours in the saddle. So, we wish you an amazing and productive 2020 from all the team.
