Veloskin supports Unmasked Mental Health LEJOG
On Sunday 15th August, the entire Veloskin team joined the Unmasked Mental Health team on Day 8 of their Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) attempt.
With members of the Veloskin team having a close affinity to the UMH service, and having been based in the same offices, it was only natural that we support an endurance event to help these riders stay as comfortable as possible throughout their journey across Great Britain.
Andy Banks, owner and Director of Veloskin is joining both Doug Dennison and Logan Bonham Smith throughout their epic ride and the remaining members of the Veloskin team, Luis (Digital and Marketing) and Chris Iredale (owner and Director) caught up with the ride from Kirkby Lonsdale and made the (roughly) 100km ride to Carlisle in support of their efforts. Supported most ably by Robin Cunningham, who is driving the van between locations, collecting supplies and doing the washing!
A beautiful route was hampered only by a little light rain, but supported well by a favourable wind all day which meant they made good time, earning extra recovery ahead of their second week push. Extra shout out to Robin, who drove both Chris and Luis back to Kirkby Lonsdale after the trains let them down!
You can read more about their journey and why they're doing it below.
If you want to join them as well, don't hesitate to contact us or any of those linked above!

On the 7th August 2021, the Unmasked team will be taking on an epic challenge ... We’ll be cycling over 1000 miles across 14 days from Lands End to John O’Groats

We are looking for people to join us either for the full tour or you can join us for a stage or two, whatever suits you! Here’s the breakdown of each stage ...
