Who rules the world...?

We get asked quite a lot... "are your products suitable for ladies?", perhaps even a little more than we'd like.

However, we're glad we get asked. Firstly, let's address that question - YES, absolutely! In fact, it prompted us to add our newly added FAQ which you can find here to the website and check out the first question...

We are working really hard on developing a women's specific chamois cream, but ultimately, what we have right now will do the job perfectly well and was designed to be suitable for both men and women, rather than favouring one or the other. Our current chamois cream is pH neutral to make this work.

Men's and women's skin is actually slightly different in its makeup. Men have skin that is around 20% thicker, more oily, has more pores and collagen differences. Shaving can also cause more problems for your skin, but we've got that covered too! So with that said, that's why we want to produce a female specific chamois cream. Once it's ready, we'll be shouting it from the rooftops!

As a small business, these things take time with testing, research and development, it would be great if it was right first time. We actually had samples made recently, but the early tests found that it broke up quickly and didn't compare in quality to our current range. So it was back to the drawing board and we're still working on the development of it. As more of our core range sells and the bigger we grow as a brand, the more we can develop these other ranges, and we really want to get to that next level!

So, why do we get asked? Initially, the majority of our original marketing shoots were done using male riders. So it's easy to see why we might get asked. When we started, we called in favours from friends to help us out with this stuff. In fact, we got a message specifically about this, highlighting that it was very male-dominated and it really kicked us into shape. No point looking back, right?

That said, our initial testing involved both female and male riders, so it wasn't without thought. There's no particular reason for overlooking this, getting riders/models to be available on the right day, as well as the weather playing ball for exactly the look we were after for a lifestyle shoot, on top of booking a photographer for a specific day and time, has proven difficult for us in the past and for one reason or another, it's been difficult to organise with our very modest budget.

But, we're pleased we've been able to overcome this and we've got more content aimed specifically at ladies riding bikes, solo, in groups and using our products and we've got more to come too, so keep your eyes peeled for that. And if you fancy being involved and you're a fan of the brand and our products, you can drop us a line!

In the meantime, if you're a female, and you're looking for a new chamois cream, moisturiser or shaving products, we're right here for you. You need only check out our reviews and the feedback we get from the incredible ladies that do use our products.

In fact, in the last few weeks, we've seen a huge increase in sales of our products coming from new, first time, female customers and we are absolutely loving it - long may it continue, it makes us incredibly proud that word is spreading! So, if you know anyone on the look out for a new skincare routine, chamois cream or soothing gel, send them our way. They won't regret it!
